Rebellion and Creativity in Religious Zionist Thought
Moshe Unna and the Religious Kibbutz Revolution
Mikhael Benadmon

The book presents the philosophy of Moshe Unna (1902-1989), a leader of the religious kibbutz, a pioneer thinker and a man of action, and reviews original perceptions of religious Zionism and the religious kibbutz movement. In his writings, Unna explores religious meanings, social and cultural acts of rebellion of religious Zionism and describes the religious kibbutz as the unique creation that it was: a place where socialism, equality, law and democracy meet and wrestle and, ultimately, design a new Jewish society.
