How to Read Habad Literature

How to Read Habad Literature
Ariel Roth

Habad literature contains thousands of titles. This book offers a tool that will help readers to become active readers of Habad literature. The underlying assumption of the book is that since the beginning of Hasidism, there have been codes that deal with the ways in which the literature is taught and transmitted from one generation to the next. The author proposes a model based on these codes that can help the reader study this literature. The model includes identification of the components of Habad literature, the concepts that are at its foundation, and the ways in which it is disseminated to the Hasidic community.
