This volume is dedicated to the late Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch, and brings together articles by Supreme Court justices and former and current presidents and senior law scholars from academia. Some of the articles discuss Justice Beinisch and analyze her work, while others discuss the main areas in which Beinisch dealt during her long legal career - as head of the High Court of Justice Department in the State Attorney's Office, as the state prosecutor, as the Supreme Court Justice and President. The contributors attempt to decide whether Justice Beinisch can be characterized as a feminist judge, in light of some of the main judgments of Justice Beinisch in the High Court of Justice Department, and in the main areas of law in which Beinisch dealt with public law and criminal law.
