A study of the political centers of Zionism and the ''Mizrahi'' movement in Imperial Germany and of the struggle of religious Zionism against non-Zionistic Orthodoxy on the one hand and non-religious Zionism on the other. This struggle promoted the consolidation of non-Zionistic Orthodoxy and the establishment of ''Agudath Yisrael''. Analyses the conflicts between different factions within the Orthodox movement and the formation of its personal and political identity.
