This is the first attempt to deal with R. Yehuda Halevi's thought in a complete and comprehensive manner, describing the systematic relationships between the various conceptual entities. The development of Halevi's thinking is described in its entirety, discriminating between his earlier and his later thinking, clarifying the apparent systematic inconsistencies and at the same time demonstrating the dialectical unity of the literary and philosophical elements in the Kuzari.
