![The Philosophy of Rabbi J. B. Soloveitchik](/files/catalog/item/thumbsrc/110_20331.jpg)
This book, the fourth in the series written by Prof. Dov Schwartz dealing with Rabbi Soloveitchik's thought, is mainly devoted to his work from the late 1960s. In terms of the method, his thought in those years was open, and his articles and sermons rely on different approaches. In terms of content, Soloveitchik moderated his conception of solitude, and paid attention to the biblical community and the modern community.
Like its predecessors, the discussion in this volume offers a systematic reading of Rabbi Soloveitchik's writing, and examines its philosophical and psychological origins.
Prof. Dov Schwartz, winner of the EMET Prize for 2015, has published many books and articles on Jewish thought. He is the editor of the series "Mahshavot" and "Religious Zionism: Past, Present and Future", both published by Bar-Ilan University.
