Grammar and Reality in the Hebrew Verb

Based on current linguistic approaches, an empirical study was conducted to demonstrate the discrepancies between normative grammar, as taught in schools, and actual pronunciation in the verb system. Gaps were attributed to sociolinguistic variables, such as age and social class, and to reading problems.
